The Homestyle Food!!! You Can Taste The Difference... Bellisimo
The food is okay and they have some interesting specials. It's pretty typical pizza. The crust is crunchy though and not chewy. I feel like it can't be real NY style pizza with crunchy crust.
MoreFood and service we're excellent! Nice casual come as you are atmosphere. Clean restaurant and clean rest rooms.
MoreAlways delicious and great staff!
Very friendly staff, pizza is pretty good for the price. I would rate the pizza 7/10 but again it's not expensive. Pizza and drink was $4. Would definitely come back.
MoreThe staff is nice. Our food came out rather quickly. You can tell the pizza isn't fresh, which would explain why it didn't take long. The drinks are super sugary, the soda barely has any water to it. The sauce is very watered down, the fried food wasn't the best as there was barely any squid in the calamari, the sweet tea felt more like sugary water than tea. The tables and floors were sticky and dirty. Even with all of this, I'll give it 3 stars because their food was filling and the pizza was decently edible. I've definitely been to worse places, but this place isn't exactly perfect. Their failed Italy style was kind of offensive but as it has nothing to do with the food, I won't go into it.
MoreGreat place with wonderful food good prices and friendly staff
I like me the chicken sandwich and steak sandwich. Nice flavor.
Tried this place for the first time. We ordered the sampler appetizer and everything was soft and rubbery like it had been microwaved. Deep fried food is not supposed to be rubbery. The pizza tasted exactly like a day old Little Caesar's. I'd rather have a $5 Little Caesar's than this place. The dipping sauce was very watery.
MoreJust got a meatball parm hero and some garlic knots. Its some of the best Italian food I've eaten in a long time.
MoreWe've been eating at Anna Maria's Pizza for the past nine years. The food is delicious and cooked with quality ingredients. The people are friendly and manage to stay on top of things despite being busy. Their menu is varied with everything from salads to pizza to pasta dishes and hot dogs. There really is something for everyone here. The atmosphere is simple, but the 50's and 60's music adds a special touch. Expect to see basketball if UNC playing! All in all, this is a good family place to go that's been a staple in the neighborhood for quite some time.
MoreThe pizza was old and cold. Service was poor at best. Server tried to charge me a 5 dollar minimum when he forgot to give me my ranch dressing. It’s a cup of ranch man, seriously. Never coming back 100%!
MoreWonderful Staff, Excellent Service, Very Friendly. GREAT FOOD!!!!
Good pizza
Called in a order at 9 picked it up at 915. they gave me the wrong order and told me things happen. id advise any one callen in to check you food before you leave or you will be stuck with what they give you staff was very disrespectful and food not worth it
MoreI am so sorry and I desperately want to say wonderful things about this place because it looks like a family owned business, but I was kind of skeeved out. Teenagers typically don't know how to clean their rooms, why would you leave them in charge of cleaning your food establishment? The bathrooms were disgusting, there were crumbs on my seat, I ask the girl to wipe my table and she did it with a stinky cloth. The floors were sticky, and had years of buildup. I could go on! My teenage daughter was amazed that their rating was as high as it was that she made a comment that they must know someone. We went in and ordered and came back to sit and eat. Had we looked around first we would have not committed. The food was ok, and the people were fine. I think Gordon from Hell's Kitchen needs to take a visit!!
MoreSauce was better when Charlie made it, RIP.
This isn't your typical independent pizza joint. Most independents strive to do something unique or unusual or just plain weird (and charge accordingly). Not at Anna Maria's. Here's a no frills place that focuses on serving solid pizzas, subs, Stromboli, knots or most anything else Italian. The food is good. Not exceptional but fairly priced and served with a smile. They do not serve beer. The kids always enjoy it - sort of like a diner atmosphere with pizza. It's not unusual to run into neighbors there!
MoreAmazing pizza and steak sub. Definitely will be back. Awesome.
